Dedicated to serving and loving animals of all kinds, it is with understanding and compassion, that I offer my deepest sympathy.  There is no greater loss than losing a beloved friend. I know how painful it is to say "good-bye".

"Tootsie" was loved by all who knew her.  Her role as "spokes-bird" for your Society brought understanding and awareness of the Rock Dove's plight.  What a profound and extraordinary calling she had.

Grief is the price we pay for having loved.  Through all the tears, the sadness and the pain, one thought that will make you smile again ~ you loved "Tootsie" dearly and that love was returned many fold.  You are indeed, a very fortunate person ~ and so deserving of her.
